Petty opportunist theft forms a large part of todays crime. All of our rental fleet units are fitted with a high security lock box. These are normally built as an integral part of the container & fitted from new ex factory. Given that we are all aware that any security is only as good as the lock that is fitted – All Boxrent Units are supplied with a high security padlock.

Secure Containers
All of our containers are constructed using tough “Corten” anti corrosive steel. All have a marine paint system applied, and are specially designed to be vandal proof. All units are fitted with a high security locking system, which uses a steel lockbox shroud to protect the lock from interference. Whilst there are more complex locking systems in the UK market, the Lockbox renders the padlock hard to tamper with & using a high quality case hardened padlock as opposed to cheaper locks, the lockbox provides a simple deterrent to opportunist theft.

Due to the lockbox design, the padlock is protected from interference with bolt-croppers, angle grinders, chisels or other methods of forced entry.

All units are normally equipped with our high security lockbox. When used in conjunction with the “Boxrent” high security padlocks which we supply, you can rest easy in the knowledge that any unwelcome entry is very unlikely.
